Who are we ?
The brewery was started by Christian Tanum Morstad and Erik Flækken Morstad in 2013. We are two Norwegian brewers from the green valleys and farmlands of Hadeland, where crops has been grown and beer has been brewed for hundreds of years.
The brewery has been established in an old grain-mill. Here, where the grain was previously milled to produce bread, it is now crushed and mashed to produce Norwegian craft-beer.
What is craft-beer ?
Craft-beer is typically beer brewed on a smaller scale and with more traditional, hands-on methods then what today’s macro-breweries use.
It is commonly un-filtered and un-pasteurized and the carbonation is naturally developed in the bottle, where the beer is allowed to mature and balance itself, resulting in a smoother and more flavourful drinking experience.
